HDShredder 4 now supports the USB standard in version 3.0 and its higher transfer rates.
HDShredder supports a variety of 15 international security standards for data deletion issued by governments, experts and other authorities.
SCSI, Firewire and USB 3.0 are supported on Windows and by the self-booting version as well.
HDShredder offers a self-booting version (HDShredder/S) and a Windows application (HDShredder/W). Both versions use the same user interface, so switching between the two is no problem.
Use SCSI, SAS, RAID and dynamic volumes as you always do
Each HDShredder software package now contains a Windows program (HDShredder/W) in addition to the self-booting program (HDShredder/S). With identical interfaces on both programs there is complete ease in switching between HDShredder/S and HDShredder/W.
USB 3.0, Firewire and SATA-II media on the self-booting version
Deleting fast SATA-II media (internal and external via eSATA) as well as USB and Firewire hard disks or memory cards using a USB or Firewire card reader.
HDShredder Standard Edition may be obtained as Workplace License (Online Shop) as well as Volume License (Online Shop or on request).
A Workplace License allows the licensee to permanently install and use1 the product on up to two PCs, typically a PC and a notebook.
A volume license allows the licensee to permanently install and use1 the product on multiple PCs, where the maximum number corresponds to the volume agreement2.
